This year was my first time going to Moondance Jam, a classic rock music festival that takes place in Walker, MN every summer. It’s such a fun place even the friendly police officers know how to have a good time.
My husband Andy and I joined of six of our great friends for the weekend of camping and concerts. I brought my hoops and turned out to be the only hula hooper there which is pretty surprising for a music fest. I definitely caught people’s attention and my rainbow LED hoop was very popular after dark. I totally missed Kayla who was not able to join me and wish she could have shared all the great hooping vibes. The best bands we got to see were Kiss on Friday night and Stone Temple Pilots on Saturday. Both drew huge crowds and put on great shows.
I’d have to say the hood of a squad car is now the most exciting place I’ve ever hooped. Where is the most random place some of you out there have found yourself hoop dancing?
