We are grateful to have been invited by Lost Lake Lodge to spend Memorial Day weekend with them at their beautiful resort in Nisswa, MN. Twistin Vixens brought the “hula” to their Hawaiian inspired weekend.
We spent Saturday morning fitting their guests with free hoops and teaching people how to decorate them. Then that afternoon we showed everybody how to use them during a family hooping class. We were lakeside with bald eagles soaring overhead, loons swimming not far off the beach, and everybody there was happy and relaxed. Both nights at dusk we put on short performances with our LED hoops. Saturday night we were next to the community campfire and Sunday we performed on the restaurant deck where late diners got an unexpected burst of colorful lights to go with dessert. We were spoiled with amazing full course meals at the resort and got to spend some rare and much needed time relaxing together in our cabin.
