One year ago, we launched our website out into the world. Since then we’ve hula hooped at community events, festivals, nightclubs, parades and talent shows. The Twistin Vixens have been featured in two newspaper articles and one magazine story. We feel more connected to the St. Cloud community than ever, and love every new opportunity to share our passion with others. Our hoop skills are continually evolving and new opportunities continue to come our way.
This month we look forward to becoming officially certified Hoop Dance Instructors and teaching our first hooping class with open enrollment this October through Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education.
In the past year hoop dancing and all things hoop-related have consumed our lives. We feel incredibly grateful to be chasing our dreams. So thank you to everybody who has supported us. (Especially Andy and Jon for putting up with our endless shenanigans and hoards of hoops all over the house!) I also want to give a REALLY BIG THANKS to Kayla. If I had not met her it’s likely I’d still be hooping by myself in my backyard. She’s become a really great friend and partner in crime. I look forward to what the future holds for us and all of the fun adventures yet to come!
