Due to some upcoming hula hooping performances Kayla and I have been trying to get inspired for making our next hoop dancing costumes. We want our new hoop clothing creations to be detailed and beautiful so we can wear them again and again. On these hooping costumes we want to incorporate a fun skirt. DIY, no sew, and simple sewing projects allow us to make pieces of outfits that are personal and unique.
Now that we’ve done our fabric shopping it’s time to figure out what to do with it all. During my searching I found these simple tutorials to make your own skirts, tutus and belts to accessorize them. Even if they’re not exactly what your looking for they still inspire more ideas that could be incorporated to a hoop dance outfit.
