This summer we spent a lot of time constructing and decorating hula hoops to sell. The goal was to sell enough that we could buy LED hoops for ourselves. We were successful! We found a good deal online at Illumi-Nation and ordered two matching 38″ diameter hoops in a rainbow pattern. The batteries are rechargable and the hoop collapses down to half its size for traveling. Plus, we were able to pick any color in any pattern we wanted for the 21 LED’s. They rock! The tubing is lighter and a bit more slippery than we were used to at first, but we’ve actually grown to prefer it over the typical black tubing we’ve been dancing with so far. We just added some friction tape and that helps.
