Twice the Hooping, Double the Fun

Twistin Vixens Hooping at Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market-05

This Saturday was another busy one filled with hot, humid, hula hooping. We got an early start on the day down in Minneapolis hosting our monthly hoop station at the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market. With Kayla’s help we sold more hoops than ever before. Our next date at the market is Saturday, September 19th.

After four hours of spreading hula hoop happiness there, we jumped in the hoopmobile and headed 2 hours west to New London, MN for the New London Music Festival. Thankfully there were plenty of shade trees and a breeze off the lake to help keep us from completely overheating.

We spent an hour sharing our hoops with festival goers, then took a short break before Stearns County Pachanga Society took the stage. During their set Nikki, Kayla and I took turns hoop dancing on the otherwise mostly empty dance floor. The crowd opted to keep cool in their chairs on the grassy shady hill. Everybody loved watching us and thanked us for being there. Perhaps it’ll become a yearly tradition…?
