For the second year in a row (third for Kayla) the three of us hula hoopers made our way up to Grand Rapids, MN for Grand Rapids Riverfest on September 7th. An outdoor concert hosted by local radio station 91.7 KAXE/90.5 KBXE. The music line-up this year was Corey Medina & Bros., S.G. Goodman, Sarah Jarosz, Shakey Graves, and Spoon.
The moment we arrived we started hula hooping and were instantly swarmed by photographers. Which admittedly makes you feel pretty cool. Festival-goers at this event just LOVE our hoop dancing. Everywhere we go spectators stop us and compliment our hooping skills wanting to know more about us. They even featured us on the jumbotron a few times. Once the sun set we broke out the LED hoops to round off the night.
We had a blast hoop dancing all day and appreciate the festival coordinators for having us back!
