Happy New Year to you and yours from the Twistin Vixens. 2016 has been a year filled with many hooping opportunities for us and for that we’re very grateful. We met loads of wonderful people, performed and participated in over 25 events and attended awesome hoop workshops hosted by Hoop Twin Cities.
Between teaching hoop dance classes, bringing the fun at birthday parties, wedding performances and hooping it up on stage at music festivals, we kept very busy doing something we love, alongside people we adore and made great memories along the way. We had a year of firsts, namely traveling out of state to perform with our entire hoop troupe at a RiverFest summer festival in beautiful La Crosse, Wisconsin.
We also expanded our joy-spreading hoop operations to Scottsdale, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota with Colleen and myself starting new ventures in those respective cities.
As I said before, we’re incredibly grateful for all of the opportunities that 2016 brought our way. Look for our new adventures in 2017 and wishing you all the best in the new year!
