Those first two photos look like Papago Park, a place I loved to bicycle to as a kid in Phoenix. Can it be? It’s got to be…I just looked again to see that white pyramid in the background is the tomb of the first governor of the ‘new’ state of Arizona.
That’s exactly where I was, Papago Picnic Area. Beautiful place to bring your hoop!
