Harmony Park sure knows how to have a good time! The energy surrounding the festivals there is unlike any other. It is magic. Which is what brought me back there for the 10th time (not to mention inspired my music tattoo). This year was different however, I purchased my first hoop at the park at Project Earth 2009 and when I returned for Harvest Fest 2010 I had a hoop dance partner with routines and our own hoops to sell.
We had pretty good luck selling hula hoops for the first time and people seemed impressed by our skills. There’s nothing else as fun as hooping to live music at Harmony Park among hundreds of other hoopers and playful performers. We left with an overall positive vibe. Here are some photos of us and our hula hoops.
Great photos! I’m fairly new to hooping (been doing it a few weeks now) but I’m so obsessed! I look forward to seeing more posts from y’all!
Thanks! It definitely doesn’t take long to become a total hooping addict. We wish you lots of fun. Let us know if you ever post any videos.
Very interesting and useful information, thanks!
I just ordered my first hoop and a Hoopnotica video. I’m very excited to learn to hoop. I am up in Northern Minnesota (on the Iron Range) and I see you guys are in St Cloud. I’ve been having a hard time finding other “hoopers” in Minnesota- specifically in my area. Do you know if there are hooping events/classes/etc up this way?
Thanks!
Hope Wolf
I have not met anybody from that far north yet. We are going to be teaching a class for some girls in Nisswa/Brainerd on Feb. 29th, but that’s still a ways away for you huh?
